The Food Recovery Project; A Project Funded by the Women’s Giving Circle
The Food Recovery Project Food Recovery Project started in 2012, funded by a generous grant from the Women’s Giving Circle Women's Giving Circle. The initial funds supported the publication of Food Recovery: A Legal Guide Food Recovery: A Legal Guide, by Nicole Civita. In 2013, the Women's Giving Circle voted to fund Phase II of our Food Recovery Project. Phase II will build upon the work done and move our community toward reduced food waste and increased food donation to those in need. This blog reports on the good work being done in the field of Food Recovery and is a direct result of the support of the University of Arkansas's Women's Giving Circle.
The Food Recovery Blog was created by 2014 LL.M. Candidate and Graduate Assistant, Jeremy Baker, under the direction of LL.M. Visiting Professor and Director of the Food Recovery Project, Nicole Civita. Updates are done by LL.M. Program Manager, Sarah Hiatt and 2015 LL.M. Graduate Assistant, Tiffany Alvoid.
